PROCEDURE TO APPLY

(1) DownloadProspectus. Read it carefully to ensure your eligibility and acquaint with therequirements for submission of Online Application Form, No separate informationwill be sent to any candidate in this regard. Prospectus can be downloaded fromthe website of Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra: B.Ed. Admission Portal: https://bed.kukadmissions.com

(2) Candidates haveto apply for Admissions 2023 online ONLY by accessing the website. Applicationforms other than online mode will not be accepted in any case.

(3) Candidates areadvised to upload all the relevant documents and testimonials along with theirapplication form for ascertaining their Date of Birth, Eligibility, Category aswell as for calculating the Merit for Admission Purpose. Before starting tofill up the online application, keep ready with you the following details, andimages of documents (size of image of any document should not exceed 300 kb):

(a) A Valid Email ID (the email should be valid for atleast 1 year), a valid mobile number as all information via SMS will be sent tothis number.

(b) Image of scanned photograph in jpg/jpeg format.

(d) Personal details

(e) Image of scanned Matriculation or equivalentexamination certificate in support of the date of birth and marks.

(f) Image of scanned 10+2 or equivalent examinationcertificate in support of the marks.

(g) Image of scanned Certificate showing marks obtainedand maximum marks in qualifying examination(s) i.e. Graduation / PostGraduation.

In case a candidate has passed the Master Degree Examination alsoafter Bachelor Degree, the higher percentage of marks obtained either in UnderGraduate or Post Graduate degree of the two will be taken into considerationwhile preparing the merit.

(h) Image of scanned Certificate on the prescribedproforma for candidates belonging to SC/ BC/ EWSs/ DFF/ ESM/ DA categories ofHaryana.

(i) Image of scanned Income Certificate of ParentalIncome from all sources, in case of Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) quota and BC (A)& (B) Category candidates (if applicable).

(j) Image ofIncome Certificate of employed Parent/Guardian of SC students. If incomefrom other sources,Image of declaration by the way of an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper.

(k) Image of scanned Bonafide Resident Certificate asper Appendix, if applicable. Candidates who have passed their qualifyingexamination from a University in the State of Haryana will be deemed to be Haryanaresidents and will not be required to submit a certificate of bonafide residentof Haryana as per guidelines of Appendix-A.

(l) Image of scanned employer certificate in case ofemployee (if applicable).

(m) Character Certificate as per following details:

(1) PrivateCandidates : Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination as privatecandidates should submit their character certificate duly signed by a FirstClass Magistrate.

(2) Candidates whohave recently qualified : Candidates who have passed/appeared in thequalifying examination in current session must submit Character Certificatefrom the Head of the Institution last attended as per specimen given inAnnexure-1

(n) Image of DeathCertificate of Parents/single earning parent/adopted Parents of COVID-19 orphans.

Note:

(i) The candidatesmust ensure that they have obtained the relevant certificate(s) from theappropriate competent authority approved and notified by Govt. of Haryana.

(ii) It is the soleresponsibility of the candidate to upload all necessary documents/certificates/ testimonials/fees with the application form. Discrepancy, if any,shall not be communicated to the candidates by the department/institute.

(iii) Not uploading of required documents will beconsidered as incomplete application form. The same will be identified andrejected for admission by the Admission Committee of the concerned institute/college.

(iv) Upload the correct Photograph and Signature as thefacility for correction in images will not be given.

(4) Visit theofficial website and follow the following procedure:

(a) Click on “New registration‟ tab.

(b) Fill basic details like mail, mobile number, name,password etc.

(c) A confirmation message will be send to yourregistered email id/mobile number. Applicant is advised to fill up the E-mail IDcarefully, failing which the registration process shall not get completed,since a verification link shall be sent to the applicant’s E-mail ID and theregistration processs willl get completed only when the verification link isclicked upon and the E-mail ID is verified. Once the registration process iscompleted, a registration ID of the candidate will be generated. Thisregistration ID will be communicated to the registered mobile and Email ID ofthe candidates. Candidates will ensure that their email-ID and registeredmobile No. remains valid for one year from the date of application.

(d) Now log in using user id and password.

(e) Fill the details in the application form carefully.

(f) Fill other details like education, personal, addressetc.

(g) Upload your passport size photograph, signature andother documents in the prescribed format as required.

(h) Select the Category / Group (Group-I Science &Arts with Math and Group-II Art & Commerce) in which you want to apply.

(i) Incase of a candidate who passed B.A. with Maths and wants to take admission onthe basis of P.G. and his/her P.G. Degree is other than Mathematics will beconsidered in Arts/ Commerce group(refer point 3(g)).

(j) Now pay the application fee through online mode.Candidates can submit their application fee using debit card/ credit card ornet banking. The candidates are required to check the status of fee payment onadmission portal and if the status is “OK”, the candidate will be able to takethe printout of Confirmation Page. In case, the fee payment status is not “OK”,it means that transaction is canceled and the amount will be refunded as peruniversity rules after completion of admission process. The ApplicationProcessing Fee has been fixed of Rs.1200/- (Rs.300/- for SC/BC/DifferentlyAbled candidates of Haryana only).

(k) Take a printout of the filled application form forfurther uses.
